Sdg's 2) Zero Hunger

THESIS

Zero Hunger mean is to end hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition. And the last is promote sustainable agriculture.

It is predicted that by 2030 more than 600 million people will experience hunger. Since 2021, several countries have also experienced an increase in the price of staple foods. In 2000, many people also had anemia, one of the causes of which was malnutrition. Malnutrition can also harm us later in life. The first is stunting, namely having a low level of intelligence, namely 148 million. secondly, wasting, namely malnutrition which makes it easier to get sick, and finally overweight, namely being overweight which is not good for your health.

Goal number two of the 17 SDGs goals is zero hunger, as reported by the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, has five targets, namely:

• By 2030, eliminate all forms of malnutrition, including by 2025 achieving internationally agreed targets for stunting and wasting children under 5 years of age, and meeting the nutritional needs of adolescent girls, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, and the elderly.

• By 2030, double agricultural productivity and incomes of small-scale food producers, especially women, indigenous communities, farming families, pastoralists and fishers, including through secure and equal access to land, productive resources and other inputs, knowledge, services finance, markets and value-added opportunities, and nonfarm employment.

• By 2030, ensure sustainable food production systems and implement resilient agricultural practices that increase production and productivity, help maintain ecosystems, strengthen adaptive capacity to climate change, extreme weather, drought, floods and other disasters, and progressively improve soil quality and land.

• By 2030, manage the genetic diversity of seeds, cultivated plants and livestock and domesticated animals and related wild species, including through well-managed and diversified seed and plant banks at national, regional and international levels, and improve access to equitable benefit sharing and equally, the results of the use of genetic resources and related traditional knowledge, as internationally agreed.

CONCLUSION

So zero hunger has the aim of reducing the amount of hunger in the world which of course is a good goal for all humans on this earth.
